Way in back 2021 during the COVID 19 pandemic, which was deeply intertwined with social determinants of health, rural communities were faced with disparities in these determinants, exacerbating health inequities. Uganda was provoked to imposing of stringent lockdown measures to limit the spread of the virus, which on the hand led rise unintended socio-economic, environment and health consequences which severely affected the community wellbeing such as increased teenage pregnancies, decrease in healthcare access, improper waste management, biodiversity loss and intensive food systems which predisposed the a more likely detoriating wellbeing. Mr Ssali Ronald Ogwal with support from Ms. Annet Namwanga and Mr. Ogwal Fred began an informal support group initiative that provided the communities with free valuable support of basic needs such clothing, food and health education. Because of the increased recognition from the communities served and the initiative impact, there was increased and continuous demand from communities for services thus the transitioning of into a fully-fledged and functioning registered NGO in 2024 so as to create formal structures to facilitate a more efficient and sustainable impact.
